From Concept to Creation:

How We Make Our Resin Jewellery

The process of making resin jewellery starts with careful design. We begin by choosing the perfect blend of colours, textures, and shapes that reflect the playful and timeless style of Lucy Andy.

Once we’ve settled on the design, the resin is mixed with vibrant pigments to create the desired colour combinations. The mixture is carefully poured into moulds, where it begins to set and take shape. At this stage, we can also incorporate additional elements, like gold flakes or dried flowers, to add a unique touch to each piece.

After the resin is fully cured, we carefully sand and polish each earring to ensure a smooth, glossy finish. The final step involves attaching the earrings to gold-plated stainless steel posts or earring hooks, making sure that the result is as durable as it is beautiful.

Throughout the entire process, we prioritise sustainability. We only create small batches of resin jewellery, which helps reduce waste and allows us to focus on quality rather than quantity. This approach ensures that each piece is not only one-of-a-kind but also crafted with care for the environment.
