These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through the Lucy Andy website, pop-up stands, markets and in-person sales.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Placement of an Order
When placing an order with Lucy Andy, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
It is the customer’s responsibility to review them carefully before completing a purchase.
Order Confirmation & Acceptance
Once an order is placed, an order confirmation email will be sent to the email address provided at checkout, including details of the items purchased and the total price.
Acceptance of the order occurs once the confirmation email is issued.
Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase only if the item has not been dispatched, collected, worn, altered or custom-made.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method where applicable.
Custom-made, personalised or modified items are not eligible for cancellation or refund once processing has begun.
Delivery & Collection
Customers may choose from the delivery or collection options available at checkout.
Lucy Andy is not responsible for:

Delays caused by third-party couriers.

Damage occurring during transit once the item has been dispatched.

Delays or issues beyond our reasonable control.
For pop-up or in-person sales, items are considered delivered once handed to the customer.
Returns Policy
Returns are accepted within 14 days of purchase only if:

The item is unused, unworn, unaltered, and unmodified.

The item is returned in its original packaging.

Prior written approval has been granted.
Custom-made, personalised, modified or worn jewellery is non-refundable.
Earrings are non-returnable and non-refundable for hygiene reasons.
Gold Plated Jewellery – Tarnish & Fading
Our 18k gold-plated jewellery is made using high-quality gold plating over stainless steel and is designed to be highly resistant to tarnishing and fading under normal wear conditions.
The terms “no tarnish” and “no fading” apply exclusively to gold-plated pieces when worn and cared for according to our guidelines.
Exposure to perfumes, creams, chemicals, chlorine, salt water, alcohol, friction, perspiration, or individual body chemistry may affect jewellery over time.
Normal wear, colour changes or skin marks are not manufacturing defects.
These characteristics do not apply to plain stainless steel or silver jewellery.
Charms, Pendants & Detachable Elements
Some pieces include charms, pendants or detachable decorative elements.

Charms and pendants are not guaranteed against loss once worn.

Loss due to wear, movement, impact or external factors is not a manufacturing defect.

Refunds or replacements are not offered for lost charms or pendants.
Charms of lower individual value (£2–£5) may tarnish faster depending on use.
This is considered normal wear and is not covered under warranty.
Lost Items
Lucy Andy is not responsible for jewellery lost after delivery or collection.
Lost items do not qualify for refunds or replacements.
Warranty, Repairs & Adjustments
Manufacturing Defects
Repairs or replacements are offered only in the case of a confirmed manufacturing defect, provided that:

The item has not been worn, altered or damaged by use.

The issue is reported within a reasonable timeframe.

Clear photographic evidence is provided.
Examples include faulty clasps or jump rings detaching without misuse.
Warranty Exclusions
The following are not covered:

Broken or snapped jewellery due to force or accidents.

Chains broken due to pulling, snagging, or tension.

Tarnishing, fading or colour changes from normal wear.

Damage caused by water, perfume, alcohol, sunscreen, chemicals, or perspiration.

Effects of individual body chemistry.
Earrings, Pearls & Gemstones

Earrings are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Breakage or loss of pearls, beads, or gemstones is not covered.

These materials are delicate and affected by daily wear.
Resin Jewellery
Resin jewellery is sensitive to impact, pressure, heat, sunlight, humidity, alcohol, and chemicals.
Melting, warping, stickiness, cracking, or deformation caused by these factors is not covered under warranty.
Customers should store resin jewellery in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight.
Price-Based Material Differences
Jewellery priced below £30 may show signs of wear sooner due to lighter materials.
Jewellery priced £30–£35 and above uses higher-quality materials.
Differences in longevity based on price are not defects.
Size Adjustments (Bracelets & Necklaces)
Complimentary size adjustments are available only:

In person at a Lucy Andy pop-up stand.

When Lucy (the maker) is present.

Within 6 months of purchase.
Adjusted items become custom-modified and non-refundable.
No postal adjustments are offered.
Shipping & Handling (Online Orders)
If an item arrives damaged:

Clear photographic evidence must be provided.

The item must be unused and unmodified.
All orders are documented and recorded prior to dispatch.
Customs Duties & International Orders
For international orders, the customer is solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or additional fees imposed by the destination country.
Lucy Andy is not responsible for:

Customs charges or delays.

Orders held or rejected by customs authorities.
If a customer refuses to pay customs duties and the order is held or rejected, no refund will be issued, as the order was correctly prepared and shipped.
Order Verification & Transparency
All orders are carefully packed and verified prior to dispatch.
Packaging processes may be recorded and shared on Lucy Andy’s official TikTok account as proof of correct preparation.
Liability
Lucy Andy strives for accuracy but does not guarantee error-free website content.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
Severability
If any part of these Terms is deemed unenforceable, the remaining sections remain valid.
Summary
