This week, Lucy Andy was invited to the Royal Borough of Greenwich Entrepreneurs & Business Event, where we had the chance to meet the judges for the upcoming Greenwich Business Awards β a celebration that recognises innovation, creativity and the inspiring stories behind local entrepreneurs.

Lucy was invited to participate in two categories this year:
β¨ Startup of the Year Award
π» Digital Excellence Award
The event was truly inspiring β we met so many wonderful entrepreneurs, shared stories, and had the chance to talk about what Lucy Andy is all about: handmade, small-batch jewellery created with love, designed in London, and inspired by the sea. π
For Lucy, being part of this journey feels deeply personal. She moved to England three years ago with her one-year-old son, without knowing the language and with nothing but a dream. The first year was all about adapting, learning, and building confidence. Last year, she finally decided to open Lucy Andy, a project born from courage, creativity, and the desire to create something beautiful from scratch.

Like many entrepreneurs, her path hasnβt been easy β starting in a new country, balancing motherhood, and building a brand from zero. But every step has been worth it. β¨
The event reminded us that behind every small business thereβs a big story β one of perseverance, heart, and community.
